Delete Your Account

Apple App Store requirement · GDPR Article 17

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once confirmed, your personal data cannot be recovered.

How to delete your account

You can delete your CycleWar account directly from within the app without contacting support:

  1. 1Open CycleWar and sign in.
  2. 2Tap your name or avatar to go to your Profile.
  3. 3Switch to the Account tab.
  4. 4Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  5. 5Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.

What gets deleted

  • Your name and email address
  • Your ride GPS history and location data
  • Your home privacy zone coordinates
  • Your push notification token
  • Your account login credentials

What is retained (anonymised)

  • Territory cells — kept in anonymised form to preserve map and leaderboard data for other players. Your name and colour are removed.
  • Aggregate ride statistics — kept in anonymised form for product analytics. No personally identifiable information is retained.

Deletion timeline

Personal data is removed immediately when you confirm deletion. Anonymised aggregate data may be retained indefinitely in accordance with our privacy policy.

Alternative: request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email support@cyclewar.app with the subject line "Account deletion request" and the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days in compliance with GDPR Article 17.
