Privacy Policy

1. What data we collect

  • Location data: GPS coordinates while you have an active ride. Used to calculate territory claims.
  • Account information: Your name and email address.
  • Ride history: Distance, duration, score, and discovered cell count for each completed ride.
  • Device push token: To deliver in-app notifications about your rides. Optional — you can disable notifications at any time in the app.

2. How we use your data

  • To run the game: territory claiming, leaderboard, scoring, and achievements.
  • To send push notifications about your ride results (only if you have enabled them).
  • To calculate your home city from your 30-day riding activity for the local leaderboard.

3. What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data to any third party.
  • We do not share your location with advertisers.
  • We do not track you across other apps or websites.
  • We do not store raw GPS tracks beyond what is needed for your current ride.

4. Location privacy

Your Home Privacy Zone (100–500 m radius, configurable in the app) hides your ride start and end points from any public-facing map or leaderboard data. Background GPS is only active when you have explicitly started a ride and have granted "Always" location permission.

5. Data retention

Ride summary data (distance, duration, score) is kept for as long as your account is active. Raw GPS points are deleted after ride scoring is complete. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time (see section 6).

6. Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account directly from within the app: Profile → Account → Delete Account. This removes your name, email, location history, and home privacy zone. Your territory cells are retained in anonymised form to preserve leaderboard integrity.

7. Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party infrastructure providers to operate the service. These providers process data only on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

  • Push notification delivery — your device push token is passed to a notification service to deliver ride alerts you have opted in to.
  • Cloud hosting & database — your account and ride data are stored on servers located in the EU.
